To be considered for the program, both Applicant and Co-Applicant must be willing to partner with South Puget Sound Habitat for Humanity. Both the Applicant and Co-Applicant (those who will sign the loan) is considered program participant.  All participants who are over the age of 18 are required to complete the obligations of the program. Participants must each complete 200 volunteer hours. This includes 100 on our construction site plus 100 spread out over our Stores, homebuyer education classes, community engagements, events, and marketing campaigns.  

If you mark yes to any of the following questions, please include a written explanation for each that applies in the space provided below.  We may require additional documentation if necessary. for instance, if you have filed for bankruptcy, we may require your bankruptcy filing and discharge order.


  • Documentation of all income. You must include 6 months of your most recent income for both the applicant and co-applicant. Please include it in the download fields below.
    • Employment – include at of paystubs. Provide additional pay stubs - if income is variable.
    • Public assistance – include any award letter(s) or statement(s) showing the benefit you receive. For Social Security programs, submit your annual award letter. For other public programs, please submit any recent documentation like re-certification paperwork.
    • Child support, alimony, or separate maintenance income – please note that you may ask us to exclude this income from our analysis. If you wish for us to exclude this income, please indicate so on within the Exclusion of Income Statement section below.
    • Self-employment – please complete the self-employment fields for the applicant and/or co-applicant.

HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION - All Habitat for Humanity neighborhoods are governed through active homeowner-led HOA's (Homeowner Associations). HOA for this home requires monthly dues and for all homeowners to follow their Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions (CCR's)
